Aims and Purpose

In developing this project we set out to fulfill the following:

encourage people, locally, to put their ideas, concerns and issues
into a  public forum for debate and discussion

empower people as individuals, and the community as a whole,
with the ability to deal with these issues and concerns in the best
possible manner, using their own and other peoples experiences
and resources.

increase peoples awareness of the place in which they live and
with  awareness of others who share this area, thus allowing
people to appreciate more, their local  environment  

plan for the area and to lobby effectively the appropriate authorities
for the changes that we as residents need rather than changes
being imposed upon the area without our significant input.

to inform residents of Tralee and it's environs

challenge decision making to ensure that ALL of the people of the town of Tralee
are treated as stakeholders
